Nathan Moody returns to his full studio after a series of single-instrument releases to deliver Lithopoetics, a full-length album of sweeping electronic articulations and majestic compositions. This electronic journey is a meditation on forces and time beyond the human scale: the constant but invisible cycle of creation and disintegration, the transitory nature of all things, and the beauty that results from change.
Lithopoetics is available as cassette (limited edition of 75) and digital download with over 10 minutes of bonus tracks. Full production notes on this release can be viewed here.
Detailed production notes can be read here.
“Lithopoetics has such a stunning sound, it’s captivating, multi-layered and diverse. It feels alive, like the pulsing of breathing, dynamic sounds with motion and emotion from a range of evolving drones, arps, leads and noise type sounds that are layered and arranged superbly.”
