Each release in the <em>\u00c9tudes<\/em> series explores one single instrument. In this case, it&#8217;s the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teenageengineering.com\/products\/op-1\">Teenage Engineering OP-1 synthesizer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Teaser:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/227459894\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While this bright white little box feels quaint and is usually associated with lightweight electro, Moody takes the OP-1 into a darker, more ambient place. While the recordings are layered, every layer was performed live, and no other sound source besides the OP-1 itself were used.<\/p>\n<p>Like all releases in the <em>\u00c9tudes<\/em> series, this album will be released as a limited edition cassette, with format-exclusive continuous A and B side mixes, and digital format as discrete tracks.
